Near the lagoon by Itikala New Road, Jaya silently stalked a calf grazing with its mother. Slipping behind the bushes, he waited for the perfect moment. As they moved into the cover, Jaya suddenly leapt. The mother rushed to defend her calf, but it was too late. Hidden behind the bushes, the brief battle ended with Jaya securing her meal.
